Installing the Client
Download, install, and launch Arcbound for the first time.
The Arcbound client is a custom launcher that installs Forge, every mod, and all resource packs automatically, then keeps them updated forever. You never manage mods by hand.

Install steps
- Download the installer from the Download page. Official builds come only from arcbound.org.
- Run it. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info, then Run anyway. This is normal for new software without a paid signing certificate.
- Open Arcbound and sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Press Play. The client installs Java, Forge, and the full Arc One modpack, then joins the server automatically.
First launch takes the longest
The first install downloads the whole modpack. Every launch after that only verifies files and grabs changes, usually a few seconds.
If your antivirus interferes
The in-game web menu uses a Chromium runtime that some antivirus tools false-flag. If mods vanish after downloading or the fancy menu never loads, open the Mods tab in the launcher and click Fix Antivirus. It adds a Windows Defender exclusion and repairs your files in one step.
Fake clients
Never download an “Arcbound client” from anywhere except arcbound.org/download. Anything else claiming to be us is fake and possibly malware.
