Arc Boosts
Timed multipliers for Pact XP, Arc Coin earnings, and grade fame - how the boost bank works and where boosts do and do not apply.
Arc Boosts are timed multipliers (typically 2x) that supercharge one kind of progression while they run.
The three boost types
| Boost | What it multiplies |
|---|---|
| Pact XP | Every point of Cursed Pact XP you earn |
| Arc Coin | Coin earnings from quests, raid clears, and Culling Games payouts and milestones |
| Grade | The fame that pushes your sorcerer grade upward |
The boost bank
Boosts never start ticking the moment you get one. Every boost you earn or buy lands in your boost bank first, inert, waiting for you to choose the moment.
- Activate from the Arcbound Menu (default key J), from the Cursed Pact screen, or with
/pact boosts activate <type>. - Check your bank and active boosts any time with
/pact boosts.
So a raid-night plan looks like: bank the boost from your Pact tier during the week, then light it up right before the party forms.
How the clock works
- Time only burns while you are online. Log out with 43 minutes left and you come back to 43 minutes left.
- Same-type boosts extend: activating a second Pact XP boost adds its full duration to the clock.
- Strongest wins: if your active boosts of a type have different multipliers, the highest one applies for the whole combined window.
Where the Arc Coin boost does not apply
The Arc Coin boost multiplies what you earn by playing. It deliberately never touches:
- Culling Games betting stakes, payouts, or refunds
- Player-to-player trades and auctions
- Store deliveries and staff grants
- Coins picked up as items
Getting boosts
Boosts come from Cursed Pact tier rewards, events, and the store. However one reaches your bank, it behaves the same: yours to hold, yours to time.
