Season, Brackets & Rewards
Bracketed windows, placement payouts, the season ladder, milestone unlocks, and the earn-only Culling titles.
Every match feeds a longer arc: the season. Points you earn in any Games accumulate on the season ladder, unlock milestones, and chase the season crown.
Brackets: the night’s terms
Each window carries terms - a bracket that decides who may enroll:
| Bracket | Who can enter |
|---|---|
| Open | Everyone |
| Grade 1 and up | Seasoned sorcerers only |
| Special Grade only | The apex bracket |
Kogane and the enrollment ad always announce the terms, and /kogane shows the bracket on the next
window’s countdown.
Match rewards
- Placement Arc Coins for the top finishers, with the champion taking the largest purse.
- Champion’s crown: the winner (or Champion Squad) is announced network-wide and named in the Record.
- Side awards for the match’s best exorcist and busiest rulemaker pay bonus coins.
- Cursed Pact XP: enrolling pays participation XP, and podium finishes pay more - the Games are one of the fastest ways to push your Cursed Pact tiers.
The season ladder and milestones
Check /culling season or the /kogane hub for the ladder, your total, and your next unlock:
| Season points | Unlock |
|---|---|
| 500 | Contender title |
| 1,500 | Veteran of the Games title |
| 3,000 | 500 Arc Coins |
Earn-only titles
Culling cosmetics cannot be bought. They appear in your cosmetics menu under a CULLING GAMES badge only once you have earned them:
| Honor | How it is earned |
|---|---|
| Contender | 500 season points |
| Veteran of the Games | 1,500 season points |
| Named in the Record | Win a match |
| The Record Keeper | Finish a season at the top of the ladder |
A few rarer honors - First Blood and Rulemaker among them - are handed out by the Proctors for standout moments rather than automatic thresholds.
Rivals
The hub tracks your rival - the player who has exorcised you the most. Killing your rival pays a revenge bonus with its own beat. The ladder remembers grudges; so should you.
Seasons roll
When a season ends, the ladder is crowned, prestige is granted, and the count starts fresh. Your titles are permanent; your season points are not.
