Cursed Techniques Overview

What Cursed Techniques are, how rarity tiers work, and how to read each technique's moves.

cursed-techniquesctcombat

A Cursed Technique (CT) is your character’s combat identity on ARC ONE - a full moveset pulled from a Jujutsu Kaisen character. You roll for techniques with Cursed Scrolls; rarer scrolls have a higher chance at stronger techniques. See Cursed Scrolls for spin odds.

Rarity tiers

Every technique belongs to a tier. Higher tiers are rarer to roll and generally stronger. Browse the full move lists per tier:

Grades and unlocks

Most techniques gate their stronger moves behind your Grade (your progression rank) and certain achievements:

RequirementWhat it means
Grade 4 -> Grade 1Your sorcerer grade. Higher grade = more of your kit unlocked (Grade 1 is above Grade 2).
Semi-GradeA step between grades (e.g. Semi-Grade 1, Semi-Grade 2).
Special GradeThe top combat grade - required to use any Domain Expansion.
Domain Expansion AchievementNeeded before any technique’s Domain can be used.
Black Flash AchievementUnlocks certain peak states (e.g. Mahito’s Instant Spirit Body).
Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT)Healing-tier unlock that gates some advanced moves.

Reading a move

Each move lists what it does in plain text. An italic note (like this) under a move is a requirement or condition for that specific move.

Domains are end-game

Nearly every technique’s Domain Expansion needs the Domain Expansion Achievement and Special Grade. Domains are the strongest moves in the game - treat that grind as the real unlock.

CT storage: keep more than one technique

You are not locked to a single technique. The CT storage bench holds techniques you are not using, and you can swap your active technique at the bench whenever you are out of danger.

  • Everyone gets 1 storage slot free.
  • Buy up to 2 more with Arc Coins - the second slot costs 5,000 and the third 12,000.
  • Earn bonus slots on top: certain Cursed Pact tiers grant a permanent extra slot that stacks beyond the buyable three, so a dedicated season can grow your bench past the shop’s ceiling.

Swaps are blocked while you are in combat, inside a raid, competing in the Culling Games, or transformed - pick your moment.

A style no scroll contains

Rumor in the colonies: an informant takes messages for a man with no cursed energy at all. Whatever he teaches does not come from a scroll. Keep an eye on the quest board.
