Betting & the Proctor's Ledger
How watchers wager Arc Coins on a running match - the Ledger item, the bet board, the window, and the payout math.
While a match runs, everyone outside the barrier gets to play too: pick a survivor and put Arc Coins on them.
The Proctor’s Ledger
When a match starts, every online non-participant receives The Proctor’s Ledger - a gold ledger item. Right-click it to open the bet board. You also get it if you log in mid-match, and it is quietly removed from everyone when the match ends. It cannot be dropped or stashed; it exists only while the Games run.

The bet board
The board shows your balance, the countdown until bets close, the total pool, and one card per living survivor: their rank, points, the coins riding on them, and their share of the pool. Eliminated survivors gray out as Exorcised.
Pick a survivor, set an amount (type it or use the quick chips), and confirm. You can add more to your pick at any time before close; you cannot switch picks.
The rules of the wager
- Watchers only. Competitors cannot bet, full stop.
- One pick per match. Add to it freely; never switch it.
- The window: betting opens at match start and closes at the merger or the match midpoint, whichever comes first, with a one-minute warning.
- Stakes: a minimum per bet and a total cap per player keep the pool honest.
- Payout: winners get their stake back plus a share of the losing pool, minus a 10% rake the Proctor keeps.
- Refunds: if the match aborts, every stake is refunded in full. Payouts survive restarts and deliver on your next login if you are offline for the crown.
Where the odds come from
There are no house odds. It is a pool: your payout share depends on how much of the winning side you hold and how much coin sat on the losers. A longshot pick with a small following pays far better than piling onto the leader.
