The earned path to a legendary, the weekly featured legend, the Legend Shrine, summoner-only capture, and wild legendary spawns.

Legend Trials are Arcbound’s fair, earned path to a legendary Pokemon. Instead of hoping for a lucky wild spawn, you complete a trial and summon the legendary yourself. Legendaries are never sold and never a guaranteed crate drop, this is the way to earn one.

Unlocking Legend Trials

Legend Trials open after you beat Gym 6 in Arclight City. Once they are live for you, the Legend Shrine is your home for the system.

A single legendary is featured at a time, and it rotates every week. The roster cycles through a set of classic legendaries, so if this week’s legend is not your target, next week’s rotation may be. Check the shrine to see who is currently featured.

Summon it at the Legend Shrine

Complete the Legend Trial for the featured legend, then perform the summon at the Legend Shrine. The summon comes with particles, sound, and a server-wide announcement, so the whole region knows a legend has been called.

Summoner-only capture

The legendary you summon answers only to you. It is claimed on capture: anyone else who throws a ball at it has it refunded, so nobody can steal your legend. You may have one active summon at a time, and each featured legend can be claimed once.

Missed the catch?

If your summoned legendary despawns before you catch it, you can summon it again for free while it is still the featured legend. Keep trying until it is yours.

Wild legendaries too

Beyond the trials, legendaries also spawn ultra-rare in the wild, around levels 60 to 70, and every one is announced to the whole server the moment it surfaces. When that line hits chat, everyone runs. Finding a wild legend is pure jackpot luck, and catching one is entirely yours to keep.

A public spectacle

Both the trial summon and a wild spawn light up server chat. Expect a crowd, and expect to see other trainers racing to finish their own trials the moment they see yours.

Your first Legend Trial capture also earns the Legendbound title. Legendaries are never sold, never pay-to-win. Earned only, on purpose.
