Unsealed Entry
The Sorcerer Killer
Shibuya. The resurrected Sorcerer Killer has already slipped Ogami’s strings, killed her, and drowned a Disaster curse in its own domain. Then he meets a boy whose shadows move like family.
He asks the question. The boy answers: Fushiguro. Not Zenin.
And for one breath, the dead man is at peace. The sale he made, the sin he carried into two graves, never collected. His son walked free. In another world, that breath is where it ends. A blade, a smile, a father choosing to die rather than ever be a danger to the one thing he did right by accident.
But in this world, the battlefield is louder. And before the blade turns, Toji hears it, shouted between curse users coordinating in the wreckage, plain as a contract:
The Zenin are moving to claim the boy. The clan head is dead, and the will names Megumi Fushiguro heir.
The one fact that made dying acceptable is gone mid-motion. His son did not escape the Zenin. The collection was only ever postponed, and the debt collector is finally at the door, the same door Toji sold him through.
So run the dead man’s logic again. The puppet threat is finished; Ogami is dead by his own hand, and nothing controls this body but him. Dying no longer protects Megumi from Toji. And dying absolutely does not protect Megumi from the Zenin, from Kenjaku’s game, from the thing he can feel circling the boy’s future. Dying, now, buys exactly one thing: comfort. And Toji Fushiguro has never once paid for comfort.
He lowers the blade. Not out of love he would ever say out loud. Out of arithmetic. There is one debt left on his ledger, the oldest one, the only one that ever mattered, and he is the only man alive qualified to erase it.
The Sorcerer Killer walks out of Shibuya alive, owned by no one, with a clan to bury and a son to never, ever speak to.
One more thing followed him out. Ogami’s seance sorcery never fully let go. A live current of the resurrection still threads the borrowed body, faint, unstable, refusing to let him die quietly. He does not call it his technique, because it is not. It is the grave, still holding his hand.

Find the informant. Follow the contracts. The Sorcerer Killer takes work in the colonies now, and sorcerers who prove themselves useful have begun to learn the first motions of his style. The current can be channeled. He will not teach you. He will simply stop stopping you.
Full mastery of the Sorcerer Killer’s arsenal lies deeper in the record, behind a seal that has not broken yet.
